The journey of designing, engineering, and selling a font online

Late at Night is a display typeface that my brother Gabriel and I created together in 2018. We set out to improve our typography skills, and to see if we could make some money from it, which we did.

I believe designing a typeface is one of the greatest challenges a designer can take on. The experience fundamentally changes how we approach everything else we create. Late at Night isn’t our most complex project, but it’s the one that found the most success and encouraged us to keep designing more.
